  • Do a home tour to familiarise me with your home and the available storage

  • A small home blessing

  • Then we will move straight into tidying up the first category - clothes

  • We will store the items you have chosen to keep

  • Discuss a plan forward

is there anything I need to do to prepare for my first KonMAri Tidying session?

I'll ask you to start thinking about your ideal lifestyle: What will your life be like when your home and is free of clutter? How would you like to spend your time? How would you like to feel in your home and life? I'll be encouraging you to think about this as if it were already true. That's all! No need for any prior cleaning. It is helpful for me to get an accurate picture of how things are for you at the moment.

how long will it take?

This is almost as personal as the belongings you choose to keep :) It will depend on the amount of items you have and the time it takes to joy-check each item. There is an opportunity to do tasks between each session (optional homework!), and this will help shorten the overall length of time to complete your tidying journey.

Can you help with storage solutions and wardrobe design?

I'd be delighted to help you find solutions for storing your cherished belongings but not your clutter ;) I have a background in Architecture and Design and love creating spaces of beauty, order and simplicity from a single drawer to an entire home.

can you help me tidy my partner's or family's belongings?

Absolutely! If your partner or family are happy to have their belongings 'tidied' (made look neat and tidy), I'd be happy to help. However, as each individual is responsible for choosing what they want to keep, we will not be able to discard any of their belongings, unless they are too young or unable to choose for themselves. But I have seen many times, where other members of the home have caught the tidying bug! I will be delighted to guide them through the process when they are ready!
